Very rare Hamilton “Custer” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch produced for Tiffany & Co. in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1940.
Hamilton produced wristwatches and pocket watches for Tiffany & Co. for several decades, in both 14K and 18K gold. This is the first example of a Tiffany-retailed “Custer” model I have seen. It is in excellent condition showing only the very slightest indications of wear. Curved caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 24mm wide. Original dial is excellent and has solid 18K gold applied numerals. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19 jewel Hamilton grade 982 movement.
