Elgin “Cushion” men’s Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1927.
This early jobber-cased Elgin wristwatch has a simple cushion-shaped case made by the Wadsworth Watch Case Co. It is in crisp, excellent condition showing only slight wear. The caseback is excellent and unengraved, with the inside correctly marked with an “E” for Elgin. Case measures 34mm long and 27mm wide. Original dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch has a 15-jewel Elgin grade 428 manual wind movement, just serviced and running well.
