Rare Elgin “Model 1093” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in two-tone white and yellow gold fill, circa 1928.
The “Model 1093” has a very unusual case design with a beveled case in white and a yellow frame around the dial, plus an inset crown and attached metal bracelet. It is quite rare; this is the only example I have ever seen. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. One of the sliding metal bracelet locks is a replacement. Caseback is superb and unengraved. Case measures 42mm long and 22mm wide. Original two-tone dial is superb. Glass crystal is excellent. The watch is powered by its correct 15 jewel Elgin grade 484 movement.
