Very scarce Hamilton “Dorsey” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1936.
Offered only from 1936 to 1938, the “Dorsey” is a scarce watch and very rare with the two-tone enamel inlaid dial. This is only the 4th or 5th one I have ever seen with this dial. It was priced at $75.00 in 1936. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear and a few light marks. Caseback is excellent, with a name engraving. The case measures 36mm long and 23mm wide. Two-tone gilt dial is excellent, has black enamel inlaid numerals and tracks. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 982 movement.
